Priya Morioka is a globally-minded business leader with extensive experience across the consumer goods, food service, and communications industries. Her leadership journey includes tenures at industry giants such as General Mills, Whirlpool, Schwan's Foods, and Caribou Coffee. Today, as Co-Founder of Global Language Connections, Priya channels her experience into advancing cross-cultural communication and workforce inclusion.
Born in India and raised in a culturally diverse family, Priya's early exposure to language and cultural barriers shaped her lifelong commitment to meaningful connection and equity. She holds a B.S. from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School, where she was a William Davidson Fellow.
A thoughtful advisor and community champion, Priya has served on numerous boards, including Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ), Harvest Network of Schools, Governor Tim Walz’s Workforce Board, AEON, and Agape Oasis.
